Terms & Conditions
Solid Pantry is operated by Solid Living Labs, LLC.
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Solid Pantrywebsite, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Service”) provided by Solid Living Labs, LLC(“we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, clicking “I agree,” or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” includes that organization.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on the Service with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, except where applicable law requires additional consent.
2. Eligibility and User Accounts
Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) to use the Service. The Service is intended for users in the United States unless we state otherwise.
Account registration. You may need to create an account to access certain features. You agree to provide accurate, current information and to keep your account credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
Account security. Notify us promptly at support@solidpantry.com if you suspect unauthorized access. We are not liable for losses arising from unauthorized use of your account where you failed to safeguard your credentials.
Suspension. We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe your account violates these Terms or poses risk to the Service or other users.
3. App Features and Informational Use
Solid Pantry helps users:
- Generate meal ideas and dinner plans
- Create grocery shopping lists
- Save recipes and meal preferences
- Optionally receive movie recommendations for “night-in” experiences
- Integrate with grocery delivery services or grocery store APIs when those features are offered
The Service is provided for general planning, inspiration, and convenience. It is not a substitute for professional advice (including medical, nutritional, or food-safety advice), and it does not create a professional relationship of any kind.
You are solely responsible for how you use information from the Service, including decisions about what to buy, cook, or consume.
4. No Medical, Dietary, or Nutritional Advice
Solid Pantry does not provide medical, dietary, nutritional, or health advice.
Meal plans, recipes, ingredient lists, tags (e.g., “healthy,” “low-carb”), and similar content are for informational and organizational purposes only. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition, nor to ensure compliance with any diet, medical regimen, or nutritional goal.
Consult qualified professionals. Before making dietary changes—especially if you are pregnant, nursing, managing a medical condition, or taking medication—consult a physician, registered dietitian, or other qualified healthcare provider.
We do not guarantee nutritional outcomes, dietary compliance, weight loss, or medical suitability of any content in the Service.
5. Allergy Disclaimer
You are solely responsible for identifying and avoiding allergens and ingredients that affect you or anyone you cook for.
Solid Pantry may display allergens, ingredient lists, or dietary labels based on user input, third-party data, or automated processing. Such information may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect.
Always:
- Read product labels and packaging before purchase and consumption
- Confirm ingredients with manufacturers and retailers when in doubt
- Take appropriate precautions for cross-contact and food preparation
We are not responsible for allergic reactions, adverse health events, or other harm related to allergens or dietary restrictions.
6. Ingredient Accuracy Disclaimer
Recipes, grocery lists, and meal suggestions may contain errors, omissions, or substitutions. Ingredient names, quantities, brands, and substitutions may not match what is available in your store or suitable for your needs.
You must independently verify all ingredients, quantities, and suitability before shopping, cooking, or serving food.
7. Grocery Store Integration Disclaimer
Current and future integrations with grocery stores, delivery services, or related APIs (if offered) are provided for convenience only.
When available, such integrations may:
- Display product listings, prices, availability, or store locations sourced from third parties
- Rely on data that is delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate
- Change or be discontinued without notice
Solid Pantry does not operate grocery stores and does not control third-party inventory, fulfillment, or policies.
8. Product Availability and Pricing Disclaimer
We do not guarantee product availability, pricing, promotions, substitutions, delivery windows, or inventory at any retailer.
Prices and availability shown in the Service (including via integrations) may differ from in-store or checkout totals due to timing, location, taxes, fees, or retailer updates.
You are responsible for confirming all details at the point of purchase with the applicable retailer or delivery provider.
9. Recipe and Nutrition Information Disclaimer
Recipes, nutrition estimates, serving sizes, and related information may be approximate or based on third-party or user-generated data. They may not reflect your actual ingredients, preparation methods, or portion sizes.
Verify product labels and official nutrition information before relying on any nutritional data for health, medical, or dietary purposes.
Movie and “night-in” recommendations are for entertainment purposes only. See Section 10 for streaming and platform availability.
10. Night-in Movie Decider Disclaimer
The optional Night-in Movie Decider (watch ideas paired with your dinner plan) suggests movies or shows for entertainment after your meal. These picks are not professional reviews, endorsements, or guarantees of quality or suitability.
If you list streaming services (e.g., Netflix, Hulu), those names are used only to understand your preferences. We do not verify, track, or guarantee that any recommended title is available on any streaming platform or service—including services you name or any other provider.
Streaming catalogs change frequently by title, region, licensing, and subscription tier. A recommendation may be wrong, outdated, or unavailable where you live. You are solely responsible for confirming whether a title is available to rent, purchase, or stream before you watch.
Links such as trailer searches may open third-party sites (for example, YouTube). Those links do not imply that the full title is available on your streaming services or on that third-party site beyond what that site offers.
Solid Pantry is not affiliated with streaming platforms unless we state otherwise in writing. Platform names and logos belong to their respective owners.
11. User Content and Saved Preferences
You may save recipes, preferences, lists, notes, and other materials (“User Content”).
You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting User Content, you grant Solid Pantry a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and process it solely to operate, improve, and provide the Service (including personalization and backups).
You represent that you have the rights to submit User Content and that it does not violate law or third-party rights.
We may remove User Content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or applicable law.
12. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes
- Attempt to access accounts, systems, or data without authorization
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service except as permitted by law
- Upload malware, spam, or content that is defamatory, infringing, or harassing
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
- Use the Service in a way that interferes with others' use or our infrastructure
We may investigate violations and cooperate with law enforcement where required.
13. Intellectual Property
The Service, including software, design, branding, text, and our proprietary content (excluding User Content), is owned by Solid Pantry or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from our proprietary materials without prior written consent.
Feedback. If you provide suggestions or feedback, you grant us the right to use it without restriction or compensation.
14. Third-Party Services and APIs
The Service may link to or integrate with third-party websites, apps, retailers, streaming services, and APIs (“Third-Party Services”). Your use of Third-Party Services is governed by their terms and privacy policies.
We do not control and are not responsible for Third-Party Services, including their content, availability, pricing, or data practices.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
Solid Pantry and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption, arising from or related to your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the claim or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (e.g., certain types of fraud or personal injury where prohibited).
16. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY OF CONTENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, or that meal plans, lists, recipes, integrations, or recommendations will meet your needs.
17. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Solid Pantryand its affiliates from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Your User Content

- Your food preparation, consumption, or purchasing decisions
We may assume exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification; you agree to cooperate.
18. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. You may delete your account through account settings or by contacting us at support@solidpantry.com.
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms or if we discontinue the Service.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will survive.
19. Changes to the Service
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, including features, integrations, and pricing for paid plans (if offered).
We will use reasonable efforts to provide notice of material changes where practicable, but we are not obligated to maintain any particular feature.
20. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Kentucky, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
